This website documents my work in communications design.
My apologies in advance for the lack of updates to this site (I AM trying to build a new one, but it's been somewhat on the back-burner so far - busy, as they say, is good). For the last few years (after Viant became dot compost) I have been dividing my time between CodeStreet LLC (who group hired all of us at New York Chart and Diagram - a company I helped found) CodeStreet is essentially a startup that creates software for the financial world. Our design group specializes in information design and usability engineering for complex systems interfaces - both internally for CodeStreet's products (Replay Service and Teamwork) as well as for external clients such as BusinessObjects, Computer Sciences Corporation and Deutsche Bank.
You can check out CodeStreet's downloadable portfolio (2.7 Mb PDF) for a taste of the kind of work I've been involved with.
On a completely different tangent, I just recently launched a group of conceptual "furniture" pieces with the invaluable help and collaboration of Alan Heller, for his company Heller, Inc (I understand the pasta will be launched on the website in the fall, so right now it's only in their PDF catalog). Also, I conducted some recent "kitchen tests" with the pasta, and here are the results!(more pics)

Originally concieved of as pool floats, these overgrown pasta shapes are molded of a self-skinning foam material.

They were introduced at the Salone del Mobile in Milan Italy last April. The poster was designed by Milton Glaser.
